Dear Mother Dad + Ele,
Safely returned to camp of traveling hundreds of miles through out France. It was like a home coming. The little kids saw me coming and came running. “Bill, Bill, How are you?” Then they ran and told Christine. I was glad to be back as it was a long trip getting back and I was tired. I had a good time, but still haven’t seen all of France that I want to.
Tomorrow I’ll write more about it but night now I’ve got to get things going again and get cleaned up.
I just had some of your [unreadable] jelly on bread its quite good with hot chocolate.
I’ve encolsed a handkerchief. They’ll bring others in my next letter so you can decide who wants which. Included in the mail waiting for me when I get back was a watch band from Ele it O.K. and looks quite strong.
Till Tomorrow,
Love as ever,
Bill
P.S. Even the “pup” was glad to see me
