Hello Dear
Another day is almost gone and still we have rain, this is the fifth day of it. It has not gotten any warmer, and I don't like the weather any better. I haven't received any mail from you or anybody today as yet but I might get some later or in the day I hope so, that is all I ever look forward to every day, I really get disappointed when I don't get any so try to write as often as possible. The meals today were pretty good for dinner we had meat loaf with mashed potatoes, asapargus, cranberry sauce, pineapple and ice cream, for supper we had spagetti and cold cuts, chocolate pudding and tea, how does it sound to you. Ever since I came back the meals have seemed to have gotten better, I really hope they stay that way until I get out of this hole, and if it keeps on raining, it really will be a hole. Please don't get bored by the way I write and tell you what I do and what we have to eat or how the weather is because i don't know what else to write about. It really is a problem to think about what to write since I don't get off the post on my day off, so when you don't know what to write about just tell me what you done all day that will be alrite with me. I am always glad to get a letter. I think after I finish this page I will write Joe a letter I haven't answered his last letter yet and I always like to hear from him. Did they let up on the pleasure driving yet or are you just driving the truck and letting Bessie rest. Well I don't know what else to tell you so I will quit for now. Lots of love and kisses.
