Friday Morning

Dear Alice --

Papa and I am including a draft and are asking you to get your birth day gift rather than our sending them -- Papa had in mind getting your an Electric toaster -- we find the cost of them here in is about six fifty -- there are improvements on ours -- most of them now have a wire from which prevents the bread from falling off which it is quite apt to do -- I thought your could grab a tablecloth there better than for one to send over -- if there are other things you would rather have then there we suggest feel free two grab them -- we wish you get what you most wish.

With love for all,

From Mama
